Continuous Education & Professional Development
The Stanford Continuing Medical Education Office offers educational conferences throughout the year, including programs in both adult and pediatric medicine. Lucile Packard Children's Hospital's Continuing Medical Education (CME) program offers a wide range of educational activities for physicians, nurses and other health care professionals. Courses offer everything from updates on the latest pediatric advances to the opportunity to sit down with faculty to discuss issues encountered in daily practice.
Stanford University Medical Center offers a variety of Continuing Education (CE) courses for nurses and other healthcare professionals. Continuing Education consists of educational activities to develop and maintain knowledge, skills and professional performance. The mission of the Stanford Center for Education and Professional Development is to create an environment that promotes excellence in patient care by providing state-of-the-art professional development programs for the healthcare community. This Center routinely offers Life Support courses and Continuing Education courses for Clinical Professionals.
Stanford Continuing Studies offers a broad range of courses, seminars, and workshops, primarily in the liberal arts, designed to enhance the learning and enrich the lives of people in the Bay Area. Courses are taught by Stanford Instructors and are open to all members of the community.
