…In particular, finding answers to enhance quality improvement. Data collection is essential to measuring the performance of quality of care in many aspects of categories on clinical care and treatment. Determining the facts and figures would not only impact the outcome of patient’s issues but would also understand the problems and solutions surrounding the patient’s health.
What brought you to Stanford?
Stanford is well known for its breakthrough technologies and treatments, and recognized as one of the best teaching institutions. To be part of this community is a wholesome challenge and a great opportunity. When I found out that a suitable position was available, I was not hesitant to apply immediately.
What do you enjoy most about working at Stanford?
First of all, I enjoy the camaraderie of my colleagues and our friendly environment. Secondly, we’re improving the healthcare system and technology, and always on the forefront. The whole experience is motivational to achieve more goals for the quality of patient care. It is a privilege to work at a hospital that carries such a great name.
What would you tell someone considering employment at Stanford?
At Stanford, it is a challenging place to work, with excellent benefits, and has its own reward for career advancement. There are lots of resources and tools to assist for career growth, and it is a supportive environment.
Outside of work, what do you enjoy or what is it about you personally that makes you a valuable member of the Stanford team?
I focus on physical and mental health to balance my lifestyle. I volunteer at Red Cross and consider myself as recreational runner/cyclist. I also take a few classes to expand my knowledge and enhance work contribution. Personal enrichment makes an impact in whatever I do.
